Attention Second Tuesday Folks -

We have waited SEVEN YEARS for this natural event to happen! The next total eclipse of the sun will occur on April 8, 2024.  At our Second Tuesday get-together on March 12th, we will have a knowledgeable, local astronomer, Roy Gustafson, presenting a program about the details of this upcoming phenomenal event. He will also be bringing, sharing, and handing out safety glasses to anyone present. (You are encouraged to request as many pairs of glasses as you and your family might need in order to view this remarkable occurrence!)   This will be a presentation that you will not want to miss, so mark the date on your calendar.--MARCH 12th!  Stop at Hy-Vee or Jewel and pick something up or cook/bake in your own kitchen and bring it to our potluck lunch. As always, our get-together will begin at NOON.
