SECOND TUESDAY LUNCH - SEPTEMBER 12

SEPTEMBER is the month that we’ve been waiting for because…SECOND TUESDAY IS BACK!!

On Tuesday, September 12th, it will be our first get-together since our summer shutdown.

​

In case you are not certain what “Second Tuesday” is and have never given us a try, we guarantee that this is the place for you!  This group is open to ANYONE who is available to attend our monthly gathering which is held every second Tuesday from September through May. It begins at NOON with a potluck luncheon. You can bring whatever dish you want (an entrée from Hy-vee or Jewel is absolutely fine). Tableware is provided as is coffee/water. After lunch is over, we are always treated to a variety of programs.

 

For the September meeting, our speaker will be Pastor Manuel. He will give us a presentation about his mission trip to Mexico which took place last spring as well as his plans for his next trip in 2024.

By the way, if you need transportation to and/or from church on September 12th, please contact Sheree Rogers at 309-798-0173.  She provides “taxi” service to anybody who may need a lift to RUMC.
