Save our next get-together date of Tuesday, October 13th.
We have found a terrific speaker named Chloe, who will inform us about the wonderful and very much needed cause, The Third Place, in downtown Rock Island. This program is a daytime drop-in center offering a welcoming place for people experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
Chloe will give us suggestions as to how we can assist with their mission, plus a free will donation basket will be placed out on the table in case you would like to donate monetarily toward this invaluable resource.
Be sure to come and hear all the details about this much needed facility.
As usual, we will have our NOON potluck lunch followed by Chloe's information. Come and join us as we eat together and learn about this safe place for those in need.
