Riverside United Methodist Church is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to serve as our part-time Treasurer. This vital role supports the mission and ministry of our church by ensuring faithful stewardship, financial accuracy, and transparency in all financial matters.
This position averages 10 hours per week at $23/hour, with a 90-day probationary period followed by annual reviews.
The Treasurer will manage church finances using standard accounting practices, prepare financial reports, support budgeting and audits, and work closely with church leadership to ensure responsible oversight of resources. Experience with accounting (and QuickBooks preferred), strong attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality are essential.
